The board of Pellon Group Oy appointed Juhani Torkko as the company’s new CEO on 1 September 2024. Agronomist Juhani Torkko has served as acting CEO since December 2023 and will succeed Kari Lehtola in the position. Pellon Group Oy’s strong expertise in feeding automation continues under Juhani’s leadership both domestically and in export operations.

Retiring CEO Kari Lehtola had this to say about the selection: “It was so fortunate that Juhani opted to leave the banking world to join the Pellon Group, and I can happily leave my post in competent hands.” Juhani Torkko thanked his predecessor for his formidable introduction to the company’s practices and for having been just a phone call away during the past months whenever help was needed. “It served as a bedrock, making it easy to step into these new boots.”
